The world is evil, eviler are men

Deep within the forest, the cub wanders,

Searching for a sanctuary, searching for his mother.

He shivers in the cold, trembles in the dark,

Stumbles through paths of thorn and dust.

He longs for Mommy, he cannot fathom why

She doesn’t come and hold him tight.

He’s terrified of the dark, his Mommy knows that.

Then why, oh why, is she not by his side?

He doesn’t like the wolf, howling in the distance,

Doesn’t like the water, making sounds so eerie.

He hates the forest, but it wouldn’t matter,

If only Mommy would come and lick him.

Little does he know, that she is no more

The only memory of her, in a mansion,

Carpeting the floor.

Once a Queen, she is now a showpiece,

Aliens walking over her, without even knowing,

All she ever wanted was to protect her child,

Alas! Her dying wish could not be satisfied.

All he remembers is a bang and a leap,

And then strangers taking her away, down the creek.

He searches and searches and searches,

Not knowing that what once was will never be.

He’s only a baby, but yet he understands,

The world is evil, eviler are men.

Left all alone, in this dark hell,

He finally finds comfort,

After starving to death.
